For this series, I chose to focus on street photography. In my pictures I was out in the neighborhood attempting to capture people doing what they do everyday (walking, working, cleaning, etc.). For a lot of these pictures I tried to incorporate leading lines in order to make the illusion of depth and realism. I also tired to focus on flow. I tried to capture moments where there was some sort of flow within the picture either with people, cars, or buildings. I edited my pictures in black and white. Because they're in black and white, it gave a greater color contrast between the dark and light areas of the picture.
Keila, great job overall! I really like this series and I like how you choose to do it in black and white. My favorite is the last one, because I really like how busy the picture is. my only suggestion is that in the fifth one down, the car is blurry in the background, so try not to make things blurry.
ReplyDeleteThis really is a good set of street photography. Although I don't know how to describe street photography, I would use this set as an example. The only advice I have would be to be careful of the reflections. One of the photos shows the your reflection and that takes away from the shot itself. Otherwise, really great work.
ReplyDeleteVery good series. Your first few photos do a good job of capturing that everyday vibe, expecially the third one. The third photo captures a very natural view of the city life, and the shot itself is very good.
ReplyDeleteI really like your series homie. they are a group of very strong meaningful pictures that capture your goal super well! keep up that grrrrrrreat! work
ReplyDeleteGreat work. I really like the third photo the best. Your photos have great subjects and good composition. My only critiques is that you should watch out for bright light and reflections. Good set though.
